  15. What does AVI Constructor do?
  16.  
  17.     AVI Constructor creates AVI files 
  18.     from captured images or separate bitmap (BMP) images files
  19.     already located on a disk.
  20.     
  21.     An AVI File is a Video Clip or an Animation.

  24. What does version 1.4 fix?
  25.     
  26.     -AVI color problems (for example, going from a gray scale image to a color image)
  27.      Use make true color movie to fix this.
  28.     
  29.     -The images are no longer skewed in the AVI if they are a different size than the first frame
  30.      ;You should be able to see all the images after the AVI is created.

  33. What do I need before using this program?

  35.     1) You must have VIDEO FOR WINDOWS ( 1.1e at least ) installed.

  38. How do I add the Bitmaps after I create them with an image editor?
  39.  
  40.     There are 5 ways to add Bitmaps to AVI Constructor.
  41.  
  42.     1) Go to the File Menu and choose Add Images ...
  43.     2) Extract the Images from an AVI file.
  44.     3) Use the Capture window.
  45.     3) Paste the Images in using the Clipboard menu.
  46.     4) Drag the Bitmap files (*.bmp) from the File Manager
  47.            or the Explorer and DROP them onto AVI Constructor.
  48.        Each image, if it's a bitmap file, will be added to the 
  49.        file list.

  51. What happens when they are added to the list?
  52.  
  53.     Nothing happens until you actually choose to make the AVI 
  54.     (from the main menu).  So you are free to edit the bitmaps 
  55.     (using another Image processing program)
  56.     while using AVI constructor.

  58.     The first frame represents the size of the AVI.

  60. When adding Images to AVI Constructor, do they HAVE to be the same size?

  62.     NO.  This problem was fix in version 1.3.

  64. How do I make an AVI?
  65.     
  66.     Press the Make AVI button if you wish to make an avi.
  67.     If you know the images do not use the same colors (same color palette) then 
  68.     choose the Make True Color AVI - All images use the same colors menu.

  70.     You will then be given a Save Dialog.

  72. How do I compress an AVI?
  73.     
  74.     Use the AVI Compress program ( AVICompr.exe ).
  75.     If you have problems with this program please tell me as it's still in alpha.

  78. How do I add sound?
  79.  
  80.     Right now, sound in only supported in Windows 95.
  81.  
  82.     To add sound in Windows 95, you must use the AVI Compress program ( AVICompr.exe ).
  83.     From AVI Compress' main menu Choose Open, Add Sound, Compress, and Save.
  84.     In order for the sound to be added you MUST compress the AVI OR
  85.     CHOOSE FULL FRAMES UNCOMPRESSED.

  88. How do I use the I Capture ++ Window?
  89.  
  90.     When I Capture ++ is displayed for the first time, you must select a window 
  91.     to be captured.    To Select a window or control, PRESS and HOLD the 
  92.     left mouse button on the cursor button.  While you are holding the left mouse 
  93.     button down, MOVE the mouse cursor around the screen.  As you move the mouse 
  94.     , you will see each window or control (buttons, list boxes, controls, etc.) 
  95.     highlight as you pass over it.   When the window or control you wish to capture 
  96.     is highlighted RELEASE the left mouse button.  Now, I Capture ++ will notify
  97.     you that it's ready to capture the selected window.

  99.     You are now ready to capture and recapture the selected window.
  100.     Press button with the green looping arrows to capture +  select a new window.

  102.     ( While capturing the images please remember: DO NOT resize the window you are capturing. )

  105. What does Trial Version mean?
  106.  
  107.     Trial Version means you can try it this program 
  108.     but it is severely limited.  In this case, 
  109.     AVI Constructor will only create AVI files that 
  110.     are less than 10 images.

  112.     The full version of AVI constructor doesn't have this 
  113.     restriction.

  119.     Yes, AVI Constructor was tested  
  120.     in both Windows 3.1 and Windows 95.
